Calboy1227's Photo Album
Hehehehe.. I know... most of you probably don't care about how I look anyway... but still.. I don't want my car to outshine me in my personal homepage.. heheheh... So here... pix pix pix of me: For better viewing quality and bigger pix, simply right click on a pix and select "zoom out". SORRY, IF SOME PIX DON'T SHOW UP, PLEASE CLICK ON ON THE LINKS PROVIDED IN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PAGE TO RELOAD. DO NOT HIT THE RELOAD BUTTON.
These are a few of my memorable pix from college. I don't really exactly remember why they're memorable so to me now.. but don't worry, it'll come back to me some day.. => |
Wada up? Yeap, this is gonna be my one and only photo album on this page. Please feel free to see my silly pix.
The above photo is taken with my buddy Eric at Clark Kerr campus in Berkeley. Hehehhe.. I look conceited because I was only a lowly, worry free college freshman back then. Eventually the stress from school and the boredom in life had forced me to smile a bit more in the pix taken later. By the way, I like blue. So that makes me the guy in blue. Hehehe

Monterey, a good place to practice weight lifting
Yeap, it's only been a few years since I went to school at Berkeley and I was already tired of its surroundings. So I decided to go to Monterey with friends to have a good time. Since I was able to lift that rock with ease, it's reported that I would later become a tourist attraction there.. heheheheh.. I wish. |

People's Park rendevous
People's Park has always been the place for the homeless and vagabonds to shelter themselves from the rest of the city. It's also one of the most famous landmarks in the city of Berkeley. Trying to act brave when I was a freshman, I went into the park and explored around. But to my disappointment, I never encountered any nudist or happie there.

Greener is better
Heheheh.. I guess I really like green a lot... so I had to take this pix to prove it... just look, the trees are green, the grass is green, part of the house behind me is green, even my car's green as well.. hehehe...

My graduation pix with my friend David
Awwww... no more.. nada.. nothing.. it's all over.. sigh.. after I graduate, I'll never have as much fun in my life as I did in college again.. sob sob... It's okay... I am sure life's still going to be interesting if I wanted it to be.. => |
Time for some Tae Kwon Do
Heheheheh.. I guess I always get bored easily when I am at school. So I always had to do something to keep myself from falling asleep. The best method is to move around, and if that still doesn't work.. heheheh... nothing but practicing some moves can make me more awake. |

Family gathering
Oh good.. hehehe.. I am glad that I have a pix of me and my family. Since my brother's going to college in the swamps (in plain English, we call it North Carolina) and my mom usually works in Taiwan, it's pretty hard for us to see each other most of the time. If there's nothing I can remember about the significance of all my pix, this is definitely the one that I won't forget!

Acting silly in Tilden Park
Hmmm....it wasn't my really idea to wear a girl's hat while I was having fun in Tilden Park.. it's all my friend's fault.. heheheh... but oh well.. at least I was brave enough to let her take the pix. Come to think of it, I guess I wasn't as terrible looking as I thought.. hehe..

Taking a bath with the 328i
See how nice I am?.. Heheheh.. I even volunteered to wash my friend's car for free. Hmmm.. I guess I just like BMWs too much....heheheh... Well.. okay.. maybe the car wash wasn't exactly for free... I did ask my friend to spare me some quarters for food when I got hungry after washing his car.. |
Lingering on campus
Hehehehe.. I guess I just had nothing better to do but to take pix while I was taking a break from classes on campus. Hope I didn't look too much like a Japanese tourist.

Way up there
Anyone who went to Berkeley during the last 80 years should be able to recognize this structure. Yeap.. it's the famous BIG CLOCK (as I've always called it.. heheheh) on campus. I wonder what are the metal bars are being used for... |
Shot put shoot out
I was a shot putter back in high school's track team. Heheheh.. it was pretty fun to compete with the big guys in the beginning of the season.. but it did become more and more tiring as I threw more and more of these lead puppies...

North Hall, Berkeley
I must have been over 6' feet tall when I stood on those rock... awwww.. that felt good. :) North Hall's actually one of my favorite places to have classes at because of its scenery. I think it's one of the best looking areas on campus. Other than my room.. of course.. hehehe.. j/k |
Another pix from my graduation at Berkeley
This pix was taken with Prof. Elliot Currie, who taught my Legal Studies 171 (Crime and Punishment in America) class. He's one of my favorite professors at Cal and I've really learned a lot from him. I would recommend anyone interested in majoring in Legal Studies to check out Prof. Currie's class. You won't be disappointed.

Time for sparring
Wahoo!!... I can do the Jean Claude Van Damme move.. hehehehhe.. actually.. it's just a routine stretch before I practice some kickings and punchings... Nope, it didn't hurt a bit at all

Somewhere out there, the Berkeley Lab.
Yeap, as Moulder says, "it's out there..."..hehehhe... even though Berkeley Lab. is one of the school's facilities, it's actually up in the hills some distance away from the main campus. But its scenery is definitely
beautiful. Notice the wind was blowing hard against me.. so no, just to answer your question if you're wondering... I didn't have a big belly

My high school graduation
This is one of my good friends in high school, Abigail. Hehehehe.. isn't she cute? As you all know, good time never last; both of us went to different colleges after we graduated from high school. We rarely got to see each other ever since. |
Hung and I at my apt.
Hehehehe... I guess you all see how crappy my apt. was back in Berkeley. Oh well, there was nothing I could do but to put up with an inexpensive place due to that sucky no-more-cap-on-rent-control bill the city's passed a while ago. Standing beside me is my friend Hung. He is also a Berkeley graduate who's currently working on his PhD degree at U.C. Davis.

Another shot of me and my ride
This is another shot of my car and I taken after one of the stupid front clear lights (right side) flew out on me when I was driving on the road. IMHO, forget about the difference between OEM and aftermarket clear lights, I've had them both and both sets flew out of my car before! One word of advice, make sure to secure your front lens with a wire or tuck papers to fill up the gap. I wonder what BMW engineers were thinking when they designed the front indicator housings. |
Having fun at Clear Lake
This pix was taken with people from my fellowship back in college... It was the only camping trip I went with this group.. but it was fun..heheheheh.. just look at everyone in the pix and see for yourself.. => The big, cool, handsome guy next to me was my ex roommie.. I am the one in white by the way.... and of course I was/am still the better looking one.. ahhahahah.. j/k..

Sleeping at Carl's place
This is what happened what I went to Carl's place to study. I did everything: eat, play, talk, blah blah blah... but study. Hehehe |
Mingling with Bob
This is me playing/mingling with Bob a few years ago. Isn't he cute? :) Too bad he's getting old and is not as active as he used to be. Check out more of his pictures in My Pet's Page, along with my other dog, Alf.

My friend's ride
Here's a shot of me with Mark's 95' Dakar Yellow M3. The pix quality is not good because I took this picture with a disposable camera. But you can still see Mark's cool ADR M classic 18' rims and cross drilled rotos in the picture. |
